Eminem is a proud dad to three children: Hailie Jade Scott, Alaina Scott and Stevie Laine Scott.
The Grammy award-winner and his ex-wife, Kim Scott, were married twice, from 1999 to 2001 and January to December 2006. Prior to their first marriage, the couple welcomed daughter Hailie Jade, in December 1995.
In the early 2000s, Eminem, whose legal name is Marshall Bruce Mathers III, adopted Scott's sister's daughter, Alaina Marie Scott, who was born in February 1993.
Eminem also adopted Stevie Laine Scott, who was born in April 2002, in 2005. Stevie, who came out as nonbinary in 2021, was born to Scott and her then-boyfriend, Eric Hartter, whom she dated between her marriages to Eminem.
"Bein' a dad is definitely living a double life," Eminem told Rolling Stone in 2004. "Even before Hailie was born, I was a firm believer in freedom of speech ... But once I hit them gates where I live, that's when I'm Dad."
In addition to his three children, the famed rapper is also a grandfather to two children from Hailie and Alaina.
Here's everything to know about Eminem's three children: Hallie, Alaina and Stevie.

Hailie Jade Scott was born on Dec. 25, 1995, in Detroit.
She has been mentioned in several of her dad's songs, including "Hailie's Song" and "Temporary." The latter was written to comfort Hailie in the event of Eminem's death.
“Yeah, so Hailie Jade, I wrote you this song / To help you cope with life now that I'm gone / How should I start? Just wanna say / Look after Alaina, Stevie, and Uncle Nate," he raps on the 2024 track. "And, sweetie, be strong, I know I was your rock / And I still am, saying goodbye is just not / Ever easy, why you crying? Just stop / Hailie, baby, dry your eye, this is not Forever.”
During an August 2024 episode of her podcast, Hailie admitted that listening to her dad's album The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce) made her emotional. This is especially true when it comes to the songs "Somebody Save Me" and "Temporary."
“I audibly sobbed, I think, for both songs, but especially ‘Temporary,'" she said. "But I will say, watching the video back and listening to the songs, I feel like my parents did such a good job growing up. Where I didn't realize how bad things were, but now, as an adult in hindsight, it's so scary to think about.”
In 2001, Eminem said his daughter was "a real wakeup call" for him. "She made me get my a-- in gear — to make something of my life and try 10 quadrillion times harder than I had before," he told British publication Q. "Everything that I am doing right now is for Hailie … the money — it's for her college."
In exchange, Hailie has been known to support her dad and his career, even celebrating with her famous father when he was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in November 2022.
Hailie graduated from Michigan State College with a psychology degree and an impressive 3.9 GPA. "She's made me proud for sure," he said on Hotboxin' with Mike Tyson in 2020.
The eldest Scott daughter launched a podcast, Just a Little Shady, in 2022. She and her cohost, Brittany Ednie, "talk about my life, pop culture and get a little shady."
During a September 2022 episode, Hailie spoke about her unique childhood. When asked if she's bothered by questions about her dad, the podcaster said, "The best way to say this is yes and no … Honestly, it's to a point. I obviously expect it. And there's certain things I can understand why people are just genuinely curious about, as anyone would be when you've kind of grown up half in the spotlight."

In February 2023, Hailie announced that she and her boyfriend of over five years, Evan McClintock, were engaged. The couple eventually wed in May 2024, and Hailie shared photos from the wedding on Instagram.
"We couldn’t have asked for a better, more beautiful weekend celebration," she wrote. "So so many happy tears were shed, laughs & smiles were had, & so much love was felt. Evan and I are feeling so grateful for all of the family & friends that traveled to support us and be a part of this new chapter of our lives as husband & wife."
Hailie's childhood videos made up most of the October 2024 music video for "Temporary." At the end of the video, Hailie is shown revealing that she was pregnant with her first child in a sweet moment that she shared with her dad.

Hailie told Eminem the news by gifting him a blue football jersey that read "Grandpa" on the back and showed him a sonogram, causing her dad to tear up.
Her baby boy, Elliot Marshall McClintock, was born on March 14, 2025, with his middle name paying tribute to his grandpa. Hailie shared the news by posting the first photo of her son on Instagram, revealing he was born three weeks early.
"happy due date//3 weeks earthside little e 🤍," she wrote.

Alaina Marie Scott was born on Feb. 22, 1993, in Michigan to Kim's sister Dawn Scott. Eminem legally adopted her in the early 2000s as her mother struggled with drug use and eventually died in 2016 from a suspected overdose.
"I have full custody of my niece," the rapper told Rolling Stone about the now-33-year-old in 2004. "My niece has been a part of my life ever since she was born. Me and Kim pretty much had her, she'd live with us wherever we was at." In 2020, he said Alaina, whom he often calls Lainey in the lyrics of his songs, is "like a daughter" to him.
Eminem name-drops Alaina in his 2004 hit, "Mockingbird," rapping, "Lainey, uncle's crazy ain't he? / Yeah, but he loves you, girl and you better know it / We're all we got in this world."
Alaina attended Oakland University, where she got a bachelor of arts in communication with a double minor in public relations and advertising.
These days, Alaina is a travel blogger who often shares her adventures with followers on Instagram. In December 2021, she got engaged to her longtime love, Matt Moeller.
"This moment. this life. Yes a hundred times over. I LOVE YOU," she captioned a set of photos from the couple's rooftop proposal, which included a snap that showed off her beautiful emerald-cut diamond ring.

On June 9, 2023, Alaina married Moeller in an outdoor ceremony in Detroit. Many friends and family members were in attendance, including Hailie, who served as a bridesmaid; and Eminem, who walked Alaina down an 80-foot-long aisle lined with 2,000 white roses.
"He wasn't going to miss that," she told PEOPLE. “These are once-in-a-lifetime moments, and I'm just so grateful to be loved the way I am by everyone. None of this would have been possible without my dad. I'm beyond blessed.”
Alaina shared photos on Instagram from her special day, including a silly snap of the happy couple showing off their rings and another picture of the bridal party posing together.
Alaina and Moeller marked another major milestone in their relationship in October 2025 when they announced she was pregnant. The couple posed with a white onesie that read "Baby Moeller."
On April 14, 2026, the couple welcomed their first child, daughter Scottie Marie Moeller. They shared the exciting news by posting a picture of the newborn in a custom knit onesie with her name sewn on it.
"My heart outside my body. she's everything and more. Scottie Marie Moeller born 4/14/26. Welcome to the world my sweet darling🕊️" she wrote in the caption on April 16. "Scottie, in honor of my 'scott sisters.' The women who have given the name and my life so much meaning. May she now give it a meaning of her own and always know how loved she is, by mom + dad, and her aunties."
She added, "To my husband, I can't believe she's ours. Thank you for giving me the greatest gift of my life. I love you endlessly."
